JetPack International Performs Anywhere in the World. Here is a Sampling.
Part car show, part speed show, the ASB Showgrounds in Auckland was the site of the CRC Speedshow where more than just petroleum is being burned. An Apollo JetPack has the ability to empty the show room and fill up the grandstands, which is exactly what happened at this event! The jetpack flew around the speedway performing various twists and turns, exciting the crowd and giving a proper showcase of the jetpack’s capability.
JetPack International featured on the front cover of The New Zealand Herald, the largest and only national newspaper in New Zealand. The amazing photo that made the front page of the newspaper featured the jetpack in flight with a perfect angle of The Auckland City Skyline in the background.
With a custom Renault suit, the jetpack flew throughout the week during the 2012 Qantas Australian Grand Prix. Almost a dozen flights took place in the infield area where spectators gather by the thousands, daily, to watch the jetpack fly. However, that week, the most iconic flight took place on the track itself with a head to head race against a Renault Sports Car. World-wide media coverage, multiple interviews with our pilot, Nick Macomber, and weeks of constant local coverage gave our clients that something extra at an event that already has a lot of exciting elements.
As a highlight of CCTV’s “Impossible Challenges” series, JetPack International performed before a live studio audience. The flight began offset, out of view, and the jetpack made its entrance to the set by way of a short flight (15 seconds) through the building and onto the stage.
The Apollo Jet Pack was featured on the Chinese Hit CCTV Reality Show, “Challenge the Impossible” – ordinary people doing extraordinary things. Each episode has contestants attempting various “impossible” tasks listed in the Guinness Book of World Records.

The venue for the Philipp Plein fashion show consisted of a long hall, with 35-foot ceilings. Two 14-second flights were successfully performed from one end of the rectangular hall to the other, with demonstration maneuvers in between.

Not your typical air show, Flygfesten only happens every other year and is located in a rural area of central Sweden and yet thousands make there way to the airfield to see the incredible flight demonstrations. With a plethora of incredible planes, helicopters, gliders, and ultra-lights, the jetpack was still able to shine, performing three times over the two-day air show.

Loud Dangerous Rocket Ships is an annual rocketeer convention where hundreds gather to launch rockets of all types. From small beginner rockets, to couches and other odd items, to high powered rockets, our jetpack wasn’t the most unique thing flying through the air at this event. Discovery Channel’s, Myth Busters Crew, were also on site taping a special and enjoying the show while our pilot performed three flights for the follow rocketeers.
The Richmond Flying Squirrels, a Double-A affiliate of the San Francisco Giants, wanted to kick off their season with something completely different and we delivered. JetPack International flew from behind the outfield wall, delivering the game ball to home plate, all while wearing “Nutzy, The Flying Squirrel” Mascot Uniform.

During Chinook Tavern’s Grand Opening, The Apollo JetPack surprised all the spectators on the second story balcony as it flew across the sky and gave the tavern an unforgettable show for their big night.
Part of Smithsonian Magazine’s “The Future is Here” festival, indoor flights included a 20-second rehearsal flight from a 2nd floor deck, across the atrium to the other side, a right-hand turn, and return for a touchdown at the takeoff site.
As part of TedX talk, Apollo Jet Pack performed inside the venue. The jet pack took off from between rows of spectators seated at floor level. The 20-second flight continued down the rows to center stage, and concluded with a presentation by the pilot on the technology and passion that fuels the jet pack.
Spectators in the Bay Area were fascinated when the jetpack flew three times in just a matter of a couple hours at the yearly air show in Northern California. Our team set up a tent and put our jetpack on display when it wasn’t flying as part of the displays as well.
